Multi-platinum rock band The Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to hit the road in 2012 with one of their stops being the Schottenstein Center Monday, June 4. The upcoming tour is in support of their latest album “I’m With You” which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart and No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock and Alternative album charts. The “I’m With You” Tour, groups’ first tour since 2007, will include the hit singles “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie” and “Monarchy of Roses”. The Chili Peppers have won seven Grammy Awards and sold over 70 million albums worldwide.
The latest tour also features the band's newest addition, guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, who replaced John Frusciante. Klinghoffer joined frontman Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea and drummer Chad Smith in 2010 for their latest album. This Chili Peppers performance will be a combination of funk influenced metal and pop rock, a night you will not want to miss.
