Because who doesn't like these videos? (Besides the people in the vehicles, but they're bringing happiness to so many.) Enjoy!
About a week ago, we heard that Five Finger Death Punch would finish their tour fronted by Phil Labonte of All That Remains. Well yesterday we got a video of the band of the band fronted by yet another singer, Austin Dickinson of As Lions. Now you may not know As Lions, but you'll definitely know Austin as the son of rock legend and Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson.
The video is from FFDP's show in Huntington. The rest of the vocals were handled by Labonte, but Dickinson stepped on stage with Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook for this acoustic medley. Check out the video below!
Now if we're being honest here, I'm a big fan of Austin Dickinson's voice and the music that As Lions puts out, BUT while I appreciate what he's going for here, his voice definitely just doesn't fit.

2008's We Wish You a Metal Xmas and a Headbanging New Year is an interesting take on 12 familiar Holiday carols performed by some of rocks biggest legends like Alice Cooper, Lemmy Kilmister, Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, and Dave Grohl, to name a few. So if you can't stand to hear Bing Crosby anymore, here is an alternative. It's definitely worth checking out.

A few days ago, Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch had a bit of a meltdown on stage. The show in Worcester had to be cut short after just eight songs due to the singers lack to continue. It is still relatively unclear as to what exactly caused Moody's meltdown, but it is obvious that he was in no shape to perform.
Well yesterday the band announced that they will finish the rest of the shows on their tour with Phil Labonte of All That Remains. Labonte said yesterday, "I got their six and stepped up right away. I'm honored to be able to help Five Finger Death Punch to finish their tour and give Ivan a chance to take care of himself." Labonte acted in a similar fashion back in 2010 when he filled in as the frontman for Killswitch Engage.
There's no real update on what exactly is going on with Ivan Moody, but my thoughts are with him and I hope he can pick himself up soon! And big ups to Phil Labonte for being not only an awesome musician, but a killer person as well!
CBS News recently reported that Police in Canada are using Nickelback as a punishment for drunk driving. Turns out that if you're caught driving drunk in the Kensington area, not only will you get arrested, the popo will blare Silver Side Up for you the whole way to the station! Now I will leave my thoughts and statements on Nickelback as a band out of this, but this whole story is absolutely hysterical. Not just because actual police officers are actually threatening people with an actual Nickelback CD, but because of how many drunk college kids are going to yell "LOOK AT THIS PHOTOGRAPH" in the back of a cop car while they're home for Christmas break! I can't make this stuff up guys, I promise this is real, you can click that CBS news link up there to see it for yourself. And seriously, don't drive drunk. It's not cool, and you'll have to listen to Nickelback.
Each year since 1973, a committee has come together to select songs for the Grammy Hall of Fame. These songs are selected because they are considered to be of historical significance. Songs, like in most Hall of Fame scenarios, must be at least 25 years old to be considered. The Grammy HOF currently houses songs such as "All Along The Watchtower" from The Jimi Hendrix Experience, "Free Bird" from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd's entire "Dark Side of the Moon" album, and a collection of Beethoven recordings. Well as of yesterday, Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" and Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" will both be added. The songs will be the first inductions for both groups and will be officially be recognized at the Grammy Awards on February 12th. You can read more of this years inductees HERE.
It's from a Spanish melodic metal band called Lords of Black. Who are they you ask? Well that is the band of the new singer for Rainbow, Ronnie Romero! The cover is awesome and is a bonus track of their new band 'II.' You can really hear why this guy is the new singer for Rainbow, and there's just enough Queen to sound awesome! So, without further ado, here is Lords of Black with 'Innuendo!'

Yes you read that right! After 14 days as the UFC's first dual-division champion, McGregor has relinquished his Featherweight title. The Notorious, until today, was both the Featherweight and the Lightweight champion. According to Fox Sports, he relinquished the title out of necessity in helping the UFC create a main event for the December 10th event in Toronto. The winner of the UFC 206 fight will go onto face Jose Aldo in 2017 and solidify the Featherweight division. McGregor remains as the Lightweight Champion
You can read more on the story thanks to Fox Sports right over HERE.
A stretch Toyota Limo, a Ferrari owned by Rod Stewart, an '86 Pontiac Fiero kit car that looks like a modern day Lamborghini Gallardo removed from a trash compactor...it's all there. Prices range from a few grand to 3 million bucks, so there's something in everyone's budget. The link has the glorious slideshow from Roadandtrack.com.
So, there is talk, and so far just talk, about a new Slipknot album. Yes the follow up to ".5: The Gray Chapter" may finally be on the way! The talk has come from percussionist, Clown, and Guitarist Jim Root. Clown told Rolling Stone that he plans to sit down with Root to start writing new music as early as February. This will be a bit of a change for Clown, as he has been busy directing movies for the better part of the year.
Clown and Root's announcement comes not long after we got some details from Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor. He said during the Gray Chapter tour that the band would take a few years off to do their own things after the tour, but that the next album could be a double concept album. Taylor tied up his statement by measuring his goals to that of Pink Floyd's The Wall or Prince's Purple Rain with an album and a movie.
Well, it's been a few years, Corey Taylor has collaborated with seemingly every band on the planet recently, and one of their members is now a feature film director, so new music from Slipknot could be right around the corner!
Thrash metal God's Slayer will officially break in to the comic universe on January 25th of 2017. The comic, entitled Slayer: Repentless, will run for 3 issues under the Dark Horse Comics label. While it may not be Marvel or DC, Dark Horse is still huge in the comic book industry. Hellboy, Sin City, Buffy The Vampire Slayer? Yeah, all those guys. You can get more info on the Slayer comic right over HERE. I'll leave the talking to them, they just have a lot more information than I can condense here. You can also preorder the first issue of Slayer: Repentless from Dark Horse over HERE.
