Press Your Ashes Into A Working Vinyl Album

Press Your Ashes Into A Working Vinyl Album

You now have the chance to live on forever in the form of vinyl. The U.K. company Andvinyl will take your actual cremated ashes and press them into 30 discs, each with 24 total minutes of audio (12 minutes on each side). You have to supply the sound, so you can record something original like a message or have them use a favorite song, but the discs come with standard artwork and labels that include your name, date of birth, and date of death. That package starts at 3,000 Pounds (which is around 3,700 American dollars), but there are plenty of extras you can add on. Below is a video explaining the whole thing. You can check out their website here.

Nothing Says Valentine's Day Like Guns N' Roses!

Nothing Says Valentine's Day Like Guns N' Roses!

Because nothing says the holidays like classic rock and sick combo deals, the nice people over at 1800-Flowers.com have put together quite the deal this Valentine's day. The website is now offering a limited time deal entitled the "Not in This Lifetime bouquet." The bouquet comes with your choice of 12 or 24 red roses and, the kicker, a pair of tickets to this summer's GNR Not In This Lifetime tour in a city near you. The 12-rose option is around $60 and the 24-rose option is around $80, so all in all it's really not a bad deal. If you're in the dog house this month and you're looking for a quick way out, you can order the special bouquet right over HERE from their website.

A7X Lullabys!

A7X Lullabys!

A few months ago, I wrote about the joy that is Rockabye Baby! and their Iron Maiden cover album. Well Blitz Nation I have found you more! This album comes from a different group called Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star. As it turns out, TTLRS is the largest line of lullaby cover music in the world! I know, it blew my mind too, but apparently there's a market for that. There latest album is titled "Lullaby Versions of Avenged Sevenfold V2" and yes, there is a V1. I have to say, the music is impressive, even if it is for little kids. My mom always told me I had the brain of a 3 year old, so I guess it makes sense...

Check out "Hail to the King" below and you can get more information over HERE!

Check Out Corey Taylor Covering David Bowie!

Check Out Corey Taylor Covering David Bowie!

If you have not yet heard, there is a "Celebrating David Bowie" tour that is circling the globe to honor the late musician. On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, the show stopped in LA at the Wiltern Theater. There was an incredible list of performers for the event, but one of the stand outs was Corey Taylor from Slipknot and Stone Sour. Taylor has worked with a number of artists recently, including Korn, but if you ask me, this may be one of his best performances yet. Check it out below!
