So, if you missed it, some poor dude in Brooklyn got punched in the face, just for looking like a B-list actor. Ok, so maybe calling Shia LaBeouf "B-list" is pushing it, but he sure changed Mario Licato's life. The 26 year old art director was just minding his own business, trying to leave the subway station on Saturday when some random A-hole came up and decked him right in the eye! The hit sent Licato down the stairs and knocked him out for a few moments. The attacker allegedly yelled, "That's because you look like f***ing Shia Labeouf" before he dipped on out of there.
When Licato came to, a group of people had surrounded him and called the police. He didn't see the guy who hit him, but the crowd said it looked like a "6' to 6'3" white frat boy." Unfortunately, I fit that description, but I've never been to NYC and I don't have a grudge against celebrity look a likes. As you can see below, Licato is pretty roughed up, but it seems like he'll be ok. No word yet on whether he'll ditch the beard in an attempt to look less like the guy from Holes and Transformers.
