Well if you've been a fan of the WWE (then WWF) since the early 90s, you know The Undertaker. The Big Dog Deadman, who not only popularized an entire type of match, but holds the record for the longest undefeated streak in Wrestlemania history. Yeah, that Undertaker.
Now, 26 years after he began with the WWE and 32 years after he started his professional wrestling career, The 51-year-old Deadman just isn't looking so good. He's been photographed a few times recently using crutches to walk and the pictures have gone completely viral. I'll go ahead and drop a couple below for your convenience and disbelief.
For what it's worth, Taker has not officially announced his retirement, nor has their been any official statement made on his health. The crutches could be for a recent injury, or the photos could be older than everyone thinks, but He was pulled from a number of WWE live events in the spring. This is all very sudden, considering some gym videos popped up a few months ago of Undertaker in terrifyingly excellent shape for a man of his age.
It sounds like more than anything, we're just going to have to wait on words from Taker himself. I know he's been one of my heroes since I was old enough to choke slam my neighbor, so here's hoping he gives a swift tombstone piledriver to whatever's holding him down and gets back in the ring soon!
Another photo of The Undertaker. You can see the crutches in his trunk which tells you it's his. I hope he heals up soon. pic.twitter.com/teU8Lz0Axu— Zack Lethal (@TheZackLethal) October 12, 2016
