Sideswipe Brewing 4 Year Anniversary Party

It's hard to believe that FOUR years have passed. It's been a wild ride and now here we are getting ready to host our 4th anniversary party! Earlier this summer we snagged a couple barrels from our friends at Middle West Spirits, and we're hoping to have something a little different on hand for you to try. This could be a bit of a peek into our future, as we continue to grow as a brewery.

Mark January 27th on your calendar. We'll crack the doors open at 2, and Fetty's Food Truck will hold court from 2-6. They're a popular food truck featuring South African street food, so we're really excited to have them. Schmidt's will round out the evening from 5-9 rocking their solid German fare.

This party is really about all of you. Without our loyal customers, none of this would be possible, so come on out to the taproom and hoist a pint to yourselves.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Weird Wednesday ft. Rockstead, SolEcho, & Cozmikspirit

Cincinnati, Ohio’s Rockstead is living proof that spreading good vibes and positivity, while also having a hellacious work ethic, will get you to where you want to be in life, both physically and spiritually. After a breakout 2015 that included multiple music festivals and concerts at venues across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois, - and having already completed two albums in that time span - Rockstead shows no signs of slowing their mission of bringing people together through music. Using this message, Rockstead combines a unique mix of reggae, rock, and punk derived from multitude of influences ranging from 311 to Sublime all the way to The Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Foo Fighters.

By aligning their unwavering dedication to the do-it-yourself work ethic with a signature sound, singer/guitarist Jake Burns, bassist Victor Falco, lead guitar Tanner Briscoe and drummer John Albertson, are hoping to define the landscape of today’s reggae-rock music scene. Courtney Phenicie out of Cincinnati, Ohio had this to say about Rockstead’s freshly released EP Rise, “The title track, “Rise” is a powerful reggae rock song that encapsulates the listener with the positive air to be able to rise above what is holding you back. To break the chains of whatever is oppressing you and rise to your highest, most enlightened state in order to make changes for yourself, the people around you, and hopefully the world.”

Rockstead would like to challenge you to Rise, to Wake Up and Live, and be the change that you want to see in the world. Make your way out to catch one of the hottest up and coming reggae-rock groups of the Midwest.

SolEcho are a jammin' band o' fools from Cincinnati OH, excited to be able to share in the community of creating and enjoying music.
