13 Shackled Kids in California Hits Close To Home

David Turpin, 57, and his wife Louise, 49, were arrested this week on torture charges for keeping their 13 children age 2-29 shackled in their home in Perris, California.

Each held separately at a $9 million dollar bail and will appear in court. Their 17-year-old daughter managed to escape from the home to call 911 with a cellphone she found in the house. The daughter, along with the other children, was so malnourished that authorities believed she was 10-years-old at first glance.

It has surfaced that the President of Valor Christian College here in Columbus, OH is the brother of David Turpin himself. Dr. Randolph Turpin has taken a leave of absence to go to California and find out more on the case of his estranged brother and sister-in-law.
