Slash, Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators Announce Upcoming Album release song & video

Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators have announced "Flying Blind," their fifth studio album, due February 26, 2027, and released its title track with a music video. The band recorded most of the 12-song album together in a Florida studio over about a week, aiming to keep the sound raw and live; they recorded as a group instead of laying down different tracks and mixing them, which adds to the feeling of a live performance. A world tour begins in Latin America in April, followed by North American shows starting April 23rd and later dates in Europe. Tickets go on sale Friday.

"It's a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock 'n' roll record. It's very straightforward and down-to-earth and raw. Created in the studio while we were standing there in pre-production, a riff came to me and started developing. I had nothing of that song prior to those guys coming in, and then we started up a night of rehearsal and played that riff. It came together really quickly. As for it being the first single, you never know what the first single is going to be until you've recorded it. When I started thinking about it, 'Flying Blind' just seemed to have the right kind of melodic sensibilities and a hook to make it single material." - SLASH on "Flying Blind"

For MYLES KENNEDY, the title track's lyric examines the shortcuts people sometimes pursue in their search for fulfillment. "I really enjoyed putting a melody to this song. The way the chord progression starts in the beginning had a nice flow to it. The lyric is about how sometimes people try to take shortcuts and try to find the easy way to achieve happiness or enlightenment."

Fifteen years after forming, SLASH FT. MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS continue to refine their sound while carrying the torch for immediate, unvarnished rock 'n' roll. For SLASH, the force behind FLYING BLIND and SMKC remains the pure pleasure of playing music. "When we started, we didn't have anything," SLASH says. "We weren't setting out to conquer the world. It was just for the pure pleasure of it. So now, we get together and play, we have a really good time, and then we go out and tour and do it again the next time." SLASH laughs. "As long as there's electricity, we'll keep plugging in."

All Hope Is Gone IS the reference! OHIO STATE just trolled the Iowa Hawkeyes with Slipknot.

The Buckeyes are heading to Iowa this weekend, and apparently Ohio State decided to bring a little heavy metal into the rivalry.

The Buckeyes posted a photo of several players recreating the cover of Slipknot's 'All Hope Is Gone' ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Hawkeyes.

And honestly… pretty damn clever.

Slipknot is from Iowa, so Ohio State basically found a way to troll the Hawkeyes using one of their own state's biggest rock bands.

And with Slipknot just announcing their 2027 tour, the timing is pretty much perfect.

Ohio State vs. Iowa. Saturday... Let the games—and the metal—begin.

The game is Saturday, October 3 at Kinnick Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

A Perfect Circle Release 'To Whom It May Concern' And Announce North American Tour

A Perfect Circle have released "To Whom It May Concern", their second new single this year and the follow-up to "Starless," Billy Howerdel and Maynard James Keenan have also announced an extensive North American tour launching April 13 in Vancouver, with stops including Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the Hollywood Bowl.

Puscifer will join A Perfect Circle for all Canadian performances as well as Detroit, (April 13 to April 23, and April 25), while The Cult will support on the remaining U.S. dates (April 27 to June 13).

Billy Howerdel: "It's exciting to finally get some new music out into the world, and seeing 'Starless' reach #1 at rock radio this week has made it even sweeter! The outpouring of support is so very much appreciated. 'To Whom It May Concern' is next up! More to come."

"To Whom It May Concern" was written earlier this year and recorded at Howerdel's Lankershim Ranch Studio in Studio City, Calif. Howerdel produced the track, Matty Green (U2, Florence + the Machine, TV on the Radio) mixed it, and longtime collaborator Josh Freese plays drums.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. local time with an A Perfect Circle pre-sale running from Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, Oct. 1 at 10 p.m. local time (Password: PERFECT). Local pre-sales begin Thursday, Oct. 1 and run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time. The Elizabethtown, Ky. show will go on sale at a later date, with additional details to come.

FOO FIGHTERS: Dinner and a Concert

After posting individual songs, Foo Fighters and Vevo have posted the full Extended Play concert.

It was filmed at Foo Fighters' 606 studio in Los Angeles and features them having a potluck dinner. Dave Grohl brings ingredients for BLTs, keyboardist Rami Jaffee shows off his "Los Angeles Kugel," bass player Nate Mendel brings Salmon, guitarist Chris Shiflett adds some green beans, drummer Ilan Rubin comes in with freshly baked sourdough and guitarist Pat Smear brings dessert -- ice cream sandwiches.

The band also plays four songs from Your Favorite Toy during the 30-minute show -- "Child Actor," "Of All People," "Caught In The Echo" and "Unconditional."

Bullet for My Valentine have announced their first album in six years.

Bullet for My Valentine will release its eighth studio album, "Social Apocalypse," on March 19th, and has also released the title track, its first new song in four years, along with a music video. Singer Matt Tuck says the album explores how quickly the world is changing, with growing conflict and uncertainty about the future. The 10-song record features guest appearances from Against The Current singer Chrissy Costanza and Lorna Shore frontman Will Ramos. Bullet for My Valentine also announced a major European arena tour beginning January 21st in Portugal, with Pendulum and Dark Divine joining as supporting acts.

The band didn't expect such a long gap in between albums. 
"That's just how things work out sometimes, and you don't realize until someone points out how long it's been...Why has it happened? Where has that time gone? But you just get so caught up in the downstream of life, you want to keep momentum going, you do albums and tours, and all of a sudden 20 years has disappeared!" - Frontman Matt Tuck

He goes on to describe the creation of every Bullet For My Valentine album as a "journey". Each, the frontman attests, is about capturing the essence of a moment in time; a freeze-frame snapshot of its creators and the world around them. Nothing forced, nothing scripted, nothing disingenuous. "Let life and our experiences set the course," 

It's a 10-track set that definitively captures every facet of the Bullet For My Valentine sound in masterfully-honed results. It's an album, Tuck notes, coloured by "light and shade" that is at once "clean and dirty", "intense and cinematic". "I feel like this will be Bullet fans' ultimate record, as it pulls together sounds and ideas from every chapter of our story while continuing to push them into new territory," he says.
