Check out this INTENSE trailer for the audiobook version of the best selling memoir "Death Punch'd: Surviving Five Finger Death Punch's Metal Mayhem" from former Five Finger Death Punch drummer Jeremy Spencer

unnamed

Death Punch'd gets down to the nitty gritty and exposes the in-fighting and tensions that, when channeled properly, result in the music fans love. It's detailed and in-depth how 5FDP came to be and who inluenced them along the way. It's hard-charged AND hilarious because this crew is mischievous! 5FDP came from small-town Indiana to arena packed stages all over the world. Jeremy gets real and reveals how he nearly destroyed it all for a good time.

"Death Punch'd – Surviving Five Finger Death Punch's Metal Mayhem" was published in September 2014 by HarperCollins imprint Dey Street, and named a New York Times celebrity best seller.

"Jeremy Spencer narrates a gripping first hand account of one of the most successful heavy metal bands of the past decade and reveals a personal journey through the wild highs and terrifying lows of the rock 'n' roll lifestyle - it's a wry and rollicking tale of music, addiction, and recovery."

Ozzy is 1/2 way done with his new album & his Guest Appearance list will blow minds!

OOTopHat-Promo
Ozzy has been working hard on his next album with Producer Andrew Watt. This will be Ozzy's 13th studio album and will be a doozy, because according to a recent update from Mr. Watt, the sessions are underway and they have enlisted Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Watt did an interview with Guitar World and talked about protocols on keeping Ozzy safe during the recording sessions, who impressive list of guest musicians and how the album is sounding...

"We're about halfway through. But, you know, it's been hard with COVID and everything to keep him safe. We all test every day before we work and it's just me, Ozzy and my engineer. So it's taken a little longer this time, but it's cool because the last one was made in this, like, swift love affair of passion, like, 'Oh my God, this is incredible!' [laughs] But this time everyone's moving a little slower and we're taking a little more time. And the songs, there's some songs on there that are like eight or nine minutes long that are these really crazy journeys. I'm really excited about it."

"There's a bunch of people involved. I can't say for sure until the end, but I started doing a bunch of basic tracks with Chad and Robert Trujillo, who used to play in Ozzy's band. And Taylor Hawkins also came in and played a bunch on the record as well, which adds a different flair – it kind of harkened back to Ozzy's '80s era, in a great way. And I think it's so cool for a rock fan to be able to listen to half an album with Chad Smith on drums, and then you flip it over and you get to hear Taylor Hawkins.

And you know, the last album was really special for everyone involved. And so there was no point in Ozzy or me doing this again unless we thought we could bring something new to the table. And I feel like we're achieving that."

"Well, we're just halfway through, so it could still change. Some of these songs we have could wind up not even making the album. So I can't really say yet. But in the end it's all Ozzy's decision. When he tells me we've got the album, that's when I'll stop."

All instruments on No One Sings Like You Anymore were played by Chris Cornell and Brendan O'Brien, who also produced & mixed the album. In time for the holiday's, the album is a special gift for Chris' fans and long term supporters, but the Cornell family hopes that new fans and listeners will be inspired by Chris' powerful and unique voice in these stunning renditions.

"This album is so special because it is a complete work of art that Chris created from start to finish. His choice of covers provides a personal look into his favorite artists and the songs that touched him. He couldn't wait to release it. This moment is bittersweet because he should be here doing it himself, but it is with both heartache and joy that we share this special album," said Vicky Cornell. "All of us could use his voice to help heal and lift us this year, especially during the holiday season. I am so proud of him and this stunning record, which to me illustrates why he will always be beloved, honored, and one the greatest voices of our time," she added.

"When my dad was making this album, it was so fun - I remember waking up in the morning, having breakfast with him and going with him into the studio. We would take our piano lessons there, and Christopher would play video games with Brendan and my dad. We got to experience so much with him and have so many amazing memories. I'm really happy to be sharing this album. We love you, daddy," shared Toni Cornell.

With Christopher Cornell adding, "We had so much fun in the studio during this time, and on days off we'd go to Tree People and hike around there. We would also play hide and go seek inside the Beverly Hills Hotel and when security would show up they would think it was so funny that my dad was running through fire escapes with us. For me this album represents who my dad was. I'm really proud of him and his work. I hope you all love this record as much as I do."
