sh-_ffighters

Foo Fighters performed "My Hero" with Taylor Hawkins' 16 year old son Shane at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert at Wembley as a fundraiser for Music Cares this past Saturday (September 3rd).

The event included performances from members of AC/DC, Rush, Metallica, Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane's Addiction, The Eagles, The Pretenders, Paul McCartney, Wolfgang Van Halen, and more.

The concert was broadcast to raise funds for MusicCares, which so far has brought in roughly $60,000 for the musician focused charity and the video had been viewed 1,953,099 times.

"Ladies and gentlemen, tonight we've gathered here to celebrate the life, the music, and the love of our dear friend, our bandmate, our brother Taylor Hawkins. For those of you who knew him personally, you know that no one else could make you smile or laugh or dance or sing like he could. And for those of you that admired him from afar, I'm sure you've all felt the same thing." - Dave Grohl

The Trailer For The Horror Flick “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” Is Here!

05pwkxeunviAjvqqayDkhdT-1.fit_lim.size_1600x900.v1640739025

It's the movie Disney would probably have stopped . . . if they had legal grounds. But they didn't. And so yesterday, the first trailer dropped for the horror movie "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey".

And it looks like it could be kinda decent. Did I just say that??

The clip starts out with Christopher Robin returning to the Hundred Acre Wood he abandoned years ago . . . with his fiancée.
He's expecting everything to be just like he left it, but he's so, so wrong. Pooh and Piglet have gone FERAL . . . and it looks like they've offed Eeyore along the way.

It makes me wonder what they would have had in mind if they decided to use the Heffalumps and Woozles. You know, the actual monsters in the Pooh stories...Hi, i'm a time traveler from year 2055. Honestly, everyone forgot that Winnie the Pooh was a cartoon character. We all know him from the slasher series. Now, i'm off to see "Winnie the Pooh X: Honey in space", see you later!

COMING SOON TO DVD AND VOD WORLDWIDE. Here's the trailer:

"Other Worlds" is a new compilation offering from "The Pretty Reckless" of remixes, acoustic tracks & covers.

the-pretty-reckless
"Other Worlds" is due out November 4th and contains 11 tracks of various remixes and acoustic versions of past Pretty Reckless songs, as well as covers.

"For a long time, we've been trying to figure out an alternative way of releasing music, including songs we love that didn't make our records, covers, and alternate versions. We found a way to do this coherently and consistently with Other Worlds. We're a rock band, so there are lots of electric guitars on our records. However, we've gotten incredible feedback from fans about our acoustic performances, and we'd never put those out in any real format. So, this is a different take on the traditional format of a record and a stripped back version of us that our fans haven't really heard before, but it's still us." - Taylor Momsen

"You get to hear a different side of Taylor's vocals. It was a chance for us to see what she would sound like singing songs by people who have inspired us. It also gave us some perspective of where we need to go and what we need to be if we want to be that good." - Ben Phillips

The 11-track collection, due out November 4, includes various remixes and acoustic versions of past Pretty Reckless songs, as well as covers of tracks including Soundgarden's "Loud Love" and "Halfway There," (which features Soundgarden and Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron) Chris Cornell's "The Keeper," David Bowie's "Quicksand" and Nick Lowe's "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding."

The Pretty Reckless shared a visualizer video for a remix of "Got So High below.
