The sentence continues! Inkcarceration Tattoo + Music Festival is officially returning to the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio, July 16–18, 2027. The festival has locked in its dates, but there's one big mystery still behind bars: the lineup hasn't been announced yet.

Fans won't have to wait to lock in their spot, though. Ticket sales begin this week:

• 2026 Attendee Presale: Thursday, August 20 at noon ET
• Subscriber Presale: Friday, August 21 at noon ET
• Public Onsale: Monday, August 24 at noon ET

Early-access registration is available through Inkcarceration's official website, where the festival says the lineup will be revealed to its email list first.

Inkcarceration has become one of the biggest rock and metal festivals in the region, combining three days of music with tattoo artists, tattoo competitions, tours of the historic Ohio State Reformatory and the Blood Prison haunted attraction. The 2026 festival reportedly drew 90,000 fans and featured 65 bands across three stages.

So, who gets the call to perform in 2027? That part of the sentence is still being written. 

Metalheads, get ready. Ozzfest is officially coming back — and the first stop is going to be incredibly meaningful.

After months of speculation, the resurrected Ozzfest has officially confirmed that its 2027 return will hit Villa Park in Birmingham, England, the hometown of Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath.

The announcement comes after Sharon Osbourne previously revealed plans to bring Ozzfest back next year. While the exact date and lineup have not been announced yet, the festival's social media accounts have now made the Birmingham return official.

And there couldn't be a more fitting location.

Villa Park was the site of "Back To The Beginning" in July 2025, the massive all-star concert that served as the final live celebration of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne. It was also Ozzy's final live performance.

Just over two weeks after that historic show, Ozzy passed away at the age of 76.

Now, Ozzfest is returning to the same stadium where the Prince of Darkness took his final bow.

Ozzy and his Black Sabbath bandmates originally came from Birmingham, making the city a crucial part of heavy metal history.

So bringing Ozzfest back to Birmingham isn't simply another festival announcement. It's a celebration of the music, the city and the legacy of the man who helped change heavy metal forever.

Sharon Osbourne has also previously indicated that conversations with potential artists have already been happening, meaning the lineup could be shaping up behind the scenes.

And Birmingham may only be the beginning.

Sharon has suggested that the 2027 revival will include North American dates, with plans reportedly calling for a two-day event in the U.S. following the Birmingham shows.

That means American metal fans could soon get their own Ozzfest comeback.

For fans who remember the original festival, that is huge news.

Ozzfest became one of the defining touring metal festivals of the late '90s and 2000s, introducing generations of fans to some of the biggest names in heavy music.

Now, after years away, the Ozzfest name is officially back.

The only question left is:

WHO'S GOING TO BE ON THAT BILL?

With no lineup announced yet, the speculation is already going to be wild. Will we see some of the legendary bands that helped make Ozzfest famous? Newer metal heavyweights? Or a combination of both?

Whatever happens, one thing is certain:

Ozzfest is coming back — and it's going home to Birmingham first.

And when those stage lights come on at Villa Park in 2027, it will be impossible not to think about the man whose music made all of this possible.

Long live Ozzy. Long live Black Sabbath. And welcome back, Ozzfest. 

Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has officially made it to Broadway!

Slash made a one-night-only appearance in The Lost Boys Thursday night at New York City's Palace Theatre, jumping into the opening number and absolutely shredding the guitar solo in "Have to Have You."

And here's the cool part: Slash already played on the studio recording of the song, released last year as part of The Lost Boys: Santa Carla Sessions. So Thursday night was basically bringing his original recording to life on the Broadway stage.

Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters are currently tearing across North America on their stadium tour, and apparently, there's only so much rock 'n' roll you can handle between shows. So Josh Homme decided it was time to introduce Dave Grohl to something he'd somehow never experienced before: Bass Pro Shops!

Homme filmed the whole thing, and Grohl wanders through the place like a kid in a candy store, geeking out over fishing, hunting and camping gear. He gets especially fired up over a camping wok and a waterproof outdoor speaker—which he appears to buy. Meanwhile, Homme is trying on an alligator hat and cracking up the entire time.

And then, because this is Josh Homme, he casually asks Dave Grohl if he's ever tried turtle milk.

Apparently, this is what happens when two rock legends have a day off.
