Black Veil Brides "Bleeders Tour" is a call to Arms! Rock & Roll up your sleeve!

BVB_2023_JW_3298_Final_V2-copy-1024x683
Bring yer' Blood...virtually...In support of the American Red Cross, Black Veil Brides are hosting a virtual blood drive during their U.S. Bleeders Tour.

Fans attending their concerts can present their proof of a blood donation and receive an exclusive merchandise package, consisting of a signed poster, pin, and patch. (I'll be bringing my blood donor card to Sonic Temple for that!)

"In the face of a severe blood shortage confronting the American Red Cross, we, Black Veil Brides, are calling upon you – our extended family. United by our passion for music and a shared spirit of altruism, we're initiating a virtual blood drive during our U.S. Bleeders Tour, inspired by our latest single, "Bleeders." This isn't just a song; it's a call to arms!" - BVB

BVB's noted that every pint of blood has the potential to save as many as three lives So this combined effort between the band and fans can have a profound impact.

The blood drive was inspired by their upcoming single "Bleeders" and their tour that kicks off April 25 in San Francisco, wraps May 25 in Los Angeles and stops in Columbus Friday 5/17 Columbus OH for a set at Sonic Temple.

Five Finger Death Punch Reveal Collaboration with Late Legendary Hip-Hop Artist DMX

Shindov_00222_FFDP_F10-1
The "AFTERLIFE" Digital Deluxe Album is out today and includes the original 12 tracks PLUS "This Is The Way" (featuring the late legendary rapper DMX) along With Three Additional Acoustic Bonus Versions of "Judgement Day," "The End," and "Thanks For Asking"

To further celebrate the brand new highly anticipated single, Five Finger Death Punch have shared the music video for "This Is The Way (feat. DMX)" directed by highly influential filmmaker Hype Williams, a longtime friend and close collaborator of the late DMX.

"Music is meant to be universal and without boundaries, and it starts at the top with us, the artists. We have always embraced the mixing of genres, whether it be the remake of LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out" featuring Tech N9ne as a guest, or our collaboration with blues warrior Kenny Wayne Shepherd, country star Brantley Gilbert, and Brian May, the legendary guitarist of Queen, on the song 'Blue on Black.'

The idea of collaborating with DMX had been in discussion for years, and it was a long and winding road to turn this particular item on our wish list into reality. He was a lyrical warrior, a true original who spoke his mind incorruptibly. We have always viewed DMX as "the metalhead of hip-hop' because of his aggressive, raw, and untamed style. He growled and snarled, aiming to rattle some cages–an attitude we share, as Five Finger Death Punch has always been drawn to the fearless and the real. It made all the sense in the world, but today this is more than just a song; it's a salute to a legend, a way to honor DMX's memory." - Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory

Watch behind the scenes making of Godsmack's "TRUTH"

ssset24

"Today I've made a choice to share with all of you an emotional event that happened to me 3 years ago. Sometimes my dearest friends and family will ask me why I would want to expose such a personal story to the public, and normally I wouldn't. However, I would also be a hypocrite if what I preach all the time is how people should expose their SCARS, emotionally or physically, and wear them loudly and proudly on their sleeves to remind us of what we survived. Rather than carry that weight internally and sink into dark places, always wondering what we did wrong, what we could've done better, and never forgiving the other person or ourselves.

If we are going to truly heal and live our best lives free of guilt, pain and suffering, then I feel we have to share our stories, expose our vulnerabilities and move past them with forgiveness. As I have with my ex, who chose to make this mistake and betray our love some time ago. It is also how I choose to create my art. Not only does it help heal me, but it also allows me to share my gift of music with all of you. Although it can be very painful to create under these circumstances, the reward has ALWAYS been much greater than the risk.

As you watch this Behind the Scenes of the making of our new single "TRUTH", I hope you see it more as a celebration of a rebirth, than a trauma endured. I truly hope it helps ALL OF YOU who may have suffered a betrayal of some kind find your peace too." ~ Sully Erna

Goosebump alert! Listen to a cappella & instrumental versions of Linkin Park's "Friendly Fire" and new biography coming.

lp17
Linkin Park has released a cappella and instrumental versions of their song "Friendly Fire."

"Friendly Fire" was recorded during the sessions for 2017's One More Light, LP's final album before the death of frontman Chester Bennington. The original version will be included on Linkin Parks upcoming 20-track collection "Papercuts" due out April 12.

Additionally, a new biography titled "Starts with One: The Legend and Legacy of Linkin Park" will be released October 1. It was written by Jason Lipshutz, the executive director of music for Billboard, and is named after the late Chester Bennington's opening lyrics to the LP hit "In the End." (pre-order here https://found.ee/itstartswithone )

"Through in-depth reporting and interviews, as well as new reflections from their collaborators and contemporaries, It Starts with One explores how one band made such a big impact on modern music, effectively cementing Linkin Park's long overdue place in music history"

2017 was the last time we saw Linkin Park perform live which was their tribute concert to Bennington, who died earlier that year. They have put out several archival releases, including 20th anniversary reissues of the first two LPs, 2000's Hybrid Theory and 2003's Meteora.
