ASKING ALEXANDRIA RELEASE NEW TRACK & MUSIC VIDEO FOR “DARK VOID”

227299
ASKING ALEXANDRIA shared "Dark Void," the first preview of music from their as-yet-untitled full-length studio album due this fall via Better Noise Music. "Dark Void" presents contrasting themes of melancholy and aspiration of day-to-day life in the modern world.

"With the world seemingly getting darker and darker, it's easy to see why so many of us struggle with anxiety, depression & loneliness. This song is about fighting those demons that live in your head and trying your hardest to be your own savior. Finding that inner strength to pull yourself out of the darkness."

"This theme is explored throughout the entirety of our upcoming album. We all have our own struggles and hurdles. We are all on our own journeys that present unique challenges and difficulties, but we all have our own inner strength to fall back on. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. I feel that there can be comfort in knowing that we aren't alone. We all feel a little down from time to time. We all feel a little lost from time to time, but somehow, in some way, we are all in this together and hopefully our new album can help people through some of their toughest times."

- guitarist BEN BRUCE

ASKING ALEXANDRIA—BEN BRUCE (lead guitars), DANNY WORSNOP (vocals), CAMERON LIDDELL (rhythm guitars), SAM BETTLEY (bass) and JAMES CASSELLS (drums)—have relentlessly toured across the globe in addition to being showcased at several of rock's top worldwide festivals including Download Festival (UK), Hellfest (FR), Graspop (BE), Aftershock (US) and many more. They will spend the summer touring across Europe before heading stateside in July for three festival appearances: Rock Fest (7/14, WI), Sunday 7/16 Mansfield, OH – Inkcarceration Festival and Saturday 9/23 Louisville, KY – Louder Than Life

New STAIND is absolutely KILLER!! "Lowest In Me" (video)

STNDAL

Staind Returns With First New Song In 12 Years And Announces New Album. The band returned with their first new song in 12 years, "Lowest In Me" and it's the first taste of their forthcoming 10 track effort, "Confessions of the Fallen" due out in the fall. Staind is also set to head out on tour with Godsmack this summer. The trek kicks off on July 18th in St. Louis, Missouri and wraps up August 31st in Austin, Texas.

"I did want to modernize the sound and bring us up to date. You can certainly recognize the band but at the same time you can hear that we've been paying attention and understand what kind of sounds and approaches we can use that maybe weren't around the last time we did this." - Vocalist/guitarist Aaron Lewis

"It's undeniably Aaron's voice, and same for the songs. We got together and spent a lot of time focusing on direction, and we really like how it turned out." - Guitarist Mike Mushok

Here's another surprise single from Beartooth! SUNSHINE! (visualizer video)

Beartooth

Here's the latest single from Columbus' BEARTOOTH. The song might be a precursor to their forthcoming fifth studio album. BEARTOOTH have kicked off their spring co-headlining tour with Trivium. Malevolence and Archetypes Collide are also appearing on that run.

"'Sunshine!' is about a lot of things, the most obvious being seasonal depression. It's always been prevalent in my life but as I grow older, it gets more intense. This song is also about moving on from the dark place I was in during 2020-2021. At the end of the day, life should be enjoyed and a BEARTOOTH song doesn't always have to be miserable." - Caleb Shomo

In Case You Missed it...Foo Fighters Release “Rescued” Video & Announce New Album

Foo-Fighter_20230419-200211_1
FOO FIGHTERS - BUT HERE WE ARE - New Album Out June 2 - First Single "Rescued" Available Now

Following a year of staggering losses, personal introspection and bittersweet remembrances, Foo Fighters return with 'But Here We Are', out June 2 on Roswell Records/RCA Records. 'But Here We Are' will be the first Foo Fighters album since the passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins last year.

A brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters endured over the last year, But Here We Are is a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship and family. Courageous, damaged and unflinchingly authentic, But Here We Are opens with newly released lead single "Rescued," the first of 10 songs that run the emotional gamut from rage and sorrow to serenity and acceptance, and myriad points in between.

Produced by Greg Kurstin and Foo Fighters, But Here We Are is in nearly equal measure the 11th Foo Fighters album and the first chapter of the band's new life. Sonically channeling the naiveté of Foo Fighters' 1995 debut, informed by decades of maturity and depth, But Here We Are is the sound of brothers finding refuge in the music that brought them together in the first place 28 years ago, a process that was as therapeutic as it was about a continuation of life.

But Here We Are is available for pre-order now, with all pre-orders including "Rescued" as an instant grat. The album's track list is as follows:

Rescued
Under You
Hearing Voices
But Here We Are
The Glass
Nothing At All
Show Me How
Beyond Me
The Teacher
Rest
