Trailer & New Theme Song/Video "21 Bullets" for 'The Retaliators' movie f/ Mötley Crüe, Asking Alexandra, Ice Nice Kills, and From Ashes To New

unnamed

Better Noise released the Theme Song to the upcoming horror movie 'The Retaliators'. "21 Bullets" is performed by Motley Crue, with guest vocals from Danny from Asking Alexandria, Spencer from Ice Nine Kills, and Danny from From Ashes To New.

Better Noise produced the movie (as they did "The Dirt" a few years ago), and aside from the "regular" actors, a number of their artists have various parts in the movie. Jacoby from Papa Roach is a prime "nemesis", Ivan from Five Finger Death Punch is the head of a biker gang whose brother is "the bad guy", members of 5FDP are in the "biker gang", and (of course he does) Tommy Lee plays a strip club DJ. THE RETALIATORS is based on the real-life story of an upstanding pastor who uncovers a dark and twisted underworld as he searches for answers surrounding his daughter's brutal murder and stars Michael Lombardi (FX's 'Rescue Me,' 'The Deuce') and Marc Menchaca ('Ozark,' 'Black Mirror') The movie goes into wide theater release on Wednesday 9/14 including in various theaters around Columbus. "Writing a new theme song for a horror flick was inspiring," says Sixx. "This was my first time writing for a horror-thriller film, and it took me in a different direction from the first theme song I wrote – 'The Dirt (1981)' by Mötley Crüe. I worked with some great new artists to create a new sound that will stretch Mötley Crüe's audience to new fans. I had a great time writing it, and I think our fans will love it too!"

The digital version of THE RETALIATORS ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK will include the track "Cops Are Here" from the movie's official score, which was arranged by Stranger Things composers Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein. The soundtrack audio will also include snippets from the film interspersed throughout the track listing, driving the film's main message, "If you could have one minute alone with the person who killed your loved one, would you take it?"

Stranger Things’ Joseph Quinn (Eddie Munson) was at Lollapalooza and jammed "Master Of Puppets" with Metallica. Watch both videos here.

Metallica premiered the live video of their Stranger Things-themed performance of "Master of Puppets" at Lollapalooza last week.

During the solo, the video screens showed footage from the Netflix "Stranger Things" character Eddie Munson shredding the classic crusher "MASTER OF PUPPETS" during the season four finale, which has led to a newfound thrash glory for the song \m/\m/

The Metallica and Stranger Things collaboration continued throughout Lollapalooza weekend when Eddie Munson actor Joseph Quinn met the metal legends for the first time backstage at the festival. Netflix posted a video of the meeting, which saw Metallica and Quinn jam "Master of Puppets" together. Metallica also gifted Quinn with a signed replica of the guitar he played on Stranger Things.

Red Hot Chili Peppers announced their 2nd album of 2022. "Return of the Dream Canteen" is a double and drops October 14th.

    image002

It's a Great time to be a Red Hot Chili Peppers Fan! On October 14th we'll get another double offering titled "Return of the Dream Canteen" and follows April's "Unlimited Love". It's the Chili's 13th studio album. This stream of new music might have something to do with their reunion with guitarist/vocalist John Frusciante, who rejoined back in 2019. Either way, keep em' coming!

"We went in search of ourselves as the band that we have somehow always been. Just for the fun of it we jammed and learned some old songs. Before long we started the mysterious process of building new songs. A beautiful bit of chemistry meddling that had befriended us hundreds of times along the way. Once we found that slip stream of sound and vision, we just kept mining. With time turned into an elastic waist band of oversized underwear, we had no reason to stop writing and rocking. It felt like a dream. When all was said and done, our moody love for each other and the magic of music had gifted us with more songs than we knew what to do with. Well we figured it out. 2 double albums released back to back. The second of which is easily as meaningful as the first or should that be reversed. 'Return of the Dream Canteen' is everything we are and ever dreamed of being. It's packed. Made with the blood of our hearts, yours truly, the Red Hot Chili Peppers"

"The creative process gives life meaning and purpose! We put out a double album about four months ago called Unlimited Love. I love that album, it felt so good to share it with y'all. Welp, now we are putting out another double album and this one is the absolute best of who we are, I'm am fukking thrilled that we are releasing this shit on October 14. Power to the people. Hope it touches hearts cause it comes straight from ours" - Flea

Band Raided Inkcarceration Parking Lot...And Got Added To The Festival - Silly Goose

    unnamed-1

Late last Saturday night (July 16) at Inkcarceration, the band Silly Goose drove to Ohio from Atlanta and set up a guerilla style impromptu performance in a parking lot on the back of their modified flat bed truck and trailer. (Photo Credit: Kate Kastelic)

Danny Wimmer proceeded to the parking lot to see what was happening. Initially frustrated by the unauthorized show, Wimmer was so impressed by the band's perseverance and talent--and immediate fan response--that he offered him a spot to open the Inkcarceration 3rd stage the next day.

Ultimately, that performance was canceled due to a delayed festival start time because of severe weather in the area, but the band was given a last minute performance slot later in the day to close out the 3rd stage which drew hundreds of fans.

Wimmer was so impressed by the band's hard work, dedication and talent that he also invited them to join him for an interview on the DWPresents on Twitch channel. During the interview, Wimmer offered the band a demo deal with his label Alchemy Recordings and he invited them to play at DWP's Louder Than Life festival in Louisville this September.

Silly Goose is known for taking matters into their own hands to get their music out to fans. Their guerrilla style performances have been held on the street, in restaurants like McDonald's, and in other festival parking lots, and sometimes get the band into trouble, but they continue to push forward to get their music out to new fans.
