Stone Temple Pilots have endured tragedies that most of us couldn't imagine. First, the death of lead singer Scott Weiland. Then, Linkin Park's Chester Bennington who filled in for Weiland after his death.
The band was left without a front man...but they've finally found one in Detroit native Jeff Gutt who is a two-time X factor contestant and former Dry Cell member.
Gutt made his debut at a show in L.A. on Thursday, November 14th at The Troubadour. Gutt said in a statement,
"No one will ever fill Scott's shoes and I'm not trying to. He is a legend. But these songs deserve to be performed and people want to hear them. I'm just glad the guys chose me to help them continue to build this band's legacy."
Here is Gutt's second time around on The X Factor, and before he dyed his hair blonde...

The average length of time a person can hold their breath underwater is two minutes.
This woman can hold her breath for upwards of SIX MINUTES. Check this out...
