The Jacks

The Jacks

Friday, May 17 @ 12:45pm | Echo Stage

The Jacks stand by their claim, "We are not a rock band, we are a rock n' roll band." With a heavy influence from the British Invasion of the 1960s and 70s, The Jacks have developed a rare sound that is unruly, bold, and hard to be ignored - they won't settle with blending into the scene. While not trying to fix what isn't broken and pushing the boundaries for tomorrow, The Jacks consistently deliver fresh but timeless music.

The Plot In You

The Plot In You

Saturday, May 18 @ 12:25pm | Echo Stage

Originally called Vessels, metalcore band the Plot in Youinitially began as the side project of Landon Tewers, formerly of fellow Findlay, Ohio band Before Their Eyes. In 2010, Tewers announced that he was leaving his old band, focusing his efforts full-time as the singer of the Plot in You. Recruiting guitarists Anthony Thoma and Josh Childress, bassist Ethan Yoder, and drummer Cole Worden, the band quickly set to work, releasing their Wife Beater EP later that year and signing to Rise Records. The band further honed their airtight, breakdown-heavy sound on their full-length debut, 2011's First Born. Guitarist Thoma left the band shortly after the LP's release, and was replaced by Derrick Sechrist, who made his first recorded appearance on the group's 2013 sophomore outing, Could You Watch Your Children Burn. The following year saw the band part ways with Rise Records and ink a deal with Attila frontman Chris Fronzak's StaySick Recordings. Their third studio album, Happiness in Self Destruction, arrived the following year, and included the singles "Crows" and "My Old Ways." June 2017 saw the Plot in You drop the single "Feel Nothing," which was included on their fourth full-length offering, Dispose, which arrived in early 2018.

Amigo The Devil

Amigo The Devil

Sunday, May 19 @ 1:10pm | Monster Main Stage

If you've ever heard a room full of people yelling "I hope your husband dies" in a some harmoniously sloppy, drunken unison, you've probably stumbled into an Amigo The Devil show. Danny Kiranos, better known to the masses as his musical counterpart Amigo The Devil, has been challenging the expectations of traditional folk, country music purists, and rock/extreme metal fans alike with his morbid, yet oddly romantic, take on folk that has amassed a dedicated and cult like fan-base. Despite being armed with only his vocals and a banjo/acoustic guitar, the live show is worlds away from what people expect of a folk show. Loaded with sing-alongs and an unsuspecting dose of humor to make otherwise grim topics accessible for fans of every genre, the songs remain deeply rooted in the tradition of story-telling that seems to be slipping away from the human condition.

Demob Happy

Demob Happy

Sunday, May 19 @ 11:40pm | Wave Stage

Grunge/psych rock band Demob Happy formed in their hometown of Newcastle, U.K. in 2008, but it wasn't until they moved their operation south to the creatively open city of Brighton, in 2011, that they began to flourish. Operating out of the Nowhere Man Café that they partially owned, Matt Marcantonio(bassist, lyricist, lead singer), Tom Armstrong (drummer, vocalist), Matt Renforth (guitar, vocals), and Adam Godfrey (guitar, vocals) set about gaining a reputation for their raucous live shows and freewheeling spirit.
