Highly Suspect Announces Tour, New LP, Shares "Summertime Voodoo" Single

Highly Suspect, Announce Intimate Summer Shows, Playing Entire LP From Beginning to End. As Above, So Below LP Out July 19th. The trailblazing rock outfit comprised of Johnny Stevens [vocals, guitar], Ryan Meyer [drums, vocals], Rich Meyer [bass, vocals], Matt Kofos [guitar], and Mark Schwartz [keyboards/guitars], are gearing up to unleash their latest opus, LP As Above, So Below. Known for defying conventions and embracing their own sonic instincts, this forthcoming album promises to continue the band's tradition of pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo within the rock genre.

With As Above, So Below, Highly Suspect invites listeners on a sonic journey that blends their trademark gritty guitars, haunting piano melodies, and off-kilter synths with a newfound sense of introspection and exploration. This album is poised to captivate both longtime fans and newcomers alike with its raw energy and thought-provoking lyricism.

To celebrate the news of forthcoming As Above, So Below, Highly Suspect is unveiling the first single, "Summertime Voodoo." "If my life is a book, then this album is the first chapter that truly addresses the central conflict," says Johnny Stevens. "The recognition of an ego, the problems its caused - and the birth of its death. "As Above, So Below." If I'm being real, I hit rock bottom again. After another close call with death, I feel wide awake. I don't know how the book ends yet, but I'm very engaged in the plot now. I'd rather it not end at all.

For the past few years I don't think I gave a shit one way or the other. Like Thom once said - "for a minute there I lost myself." - "Summertime Voodoo" is the introductory paragraph to this chapter.

We didn't know which song to put out first, so this time, instead of trying to guess which one sounds most like a single, we just decided it makes the most sense to start at the top of the story."

In addition to the new track, Highly Suspect will embark on a select series of tour dates across the United States this summer. These highly anticipated shows promise to be electrifying experiences, as the band will play the entire As Above, So Below LP from front to back at these intimate shows.

Ghost 'Rite Here Rite Now' Official Film Trailer + Share Live Version Of “Absolution”

GHOST have unveiled a trailer for their upcoming feature film debut, 'Rite Here Rite Now' Haunting Cinemas Worldwide June 20 & 22 only! Tickets and Info available here > https://www.ritehereritenow.com/

'Rite Here Rite Now' combines concert footage from Ghost's 2023 Los Angeles shows with a narrative that reflects the Swedish band's long-running mythology. The film was co-directed by the band's own Tobias Forge, and Alex Ross Perry. It's A bombastic yet intimate cinematic portrait of GHOST. Please Enjoy this offering devoted disciples.

"Shot over the course of Ghost's two sold-out shows at Los Angeles' hallowed Kia Forum, Rite Here Rite Now fully immerses viewers in the technicolor melodrama of the vaunted live ritual that has helped to propel Sweden's foremost theatrical rock export to GRAMMY-winning, chart-topping, arena-headlining status the world over. It combines live performance from the two-night finale of the band's RE-IMPERATOUR U.S.A. 2023 with a narrative story that picks up plot threads from the band's long-running Chapters series. The result is an utterly unique phantasmagorical blend: Flesh and bone renditions of favorites from all five of GHOST's albums as well as the RIAA platinum-certified "Mary On A Cross'' and more are interwoven with the silver screen debuts of a few faces familiar to the band's legions of fans-all interacting behind the scenes with GHOST's Papa Emeritus IV, as his future and fate lay in the hands of the Ministry."

An original motion picture soundtrack for the film will be released on July 26th under the title of "Rite Here Rite Now: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack". It features 18 tracks. The first to be revealed from it is the below live version of "Absolution" (video below)

Watch Motley Crue's 'Dogs Of War' Video & look for the Easter eggs (Interview Video attached)

Motley Crue's new song "Dogs of War" features their new lead guitarist, John 5 and the band describes the song as "the start of a brand new chapter" for Crue.

They haven't been on a proper label in 20 years but this marks their first released under their new deal with Big Machine Records, It's their first new music since 2019 (The Dirt which included the Machine Gun Kelly collaboration) AND they've reunited w/ producer Bob Rock (Dr. Feelgood)

"It's always great getting back in the studio with the guys in the band. We know you're gonna like this one." - Bassist Nikki Sixx

"Working with the band on the new song was the easiest session I have ever had with them... The Crue is the best they have ever been! And they have plenty of new stuff in store." - Producer Bob Rock

"There'll definitely be new music out next year, for sure, because we recorded a couple of other songs, too. Maybe we'll release one of those by the end of the year, but I can't say. But we want to keep putting out new music - not, maybe, an album but a few songs here, a few songs there, and that's good. (Dogs Of War) Is like old school meets new school. It's got that old school vibe about it, but it's new music. Nikki [Sixx] came up with it and he sent me the music and I thought it was really cool. So I started singing it and we got in the studio and it turned into the song I think the fans are really gonna like it." - Frontman Vince Neil

Motley Crue went into the studio last year with new guitarist John 5 to record a handful of songs, and the first of those, "Dogs of War," has an accompanying animated video with anthropomorphic doberman dogs and pigs in suits

Still no word on a new album or how they plan to release some of the other songs they recorded last year, including a cover of the Beastie Boys' "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party)."

I had a chance to catch up with Vince and Nikki this week. It's posted below for your entertainment!!
