David Draiman says YES to Nita Strauss!

unnamed-1

Nita Strauss (AKA; Hurricane Nita, The Hurricane) Is way more than a pretty face, she's a Bad Ass Guitar Speed Queen and a damn good songwriter! Nita Oozes musical talent and David Draiman is singing on her new one "Dead Inside". It's so good David wished it was a Disturbed song! (true story)

Anyhoo, Nita is Alice Cooper's touring guitarist and you may have seen her in "The Iron Maiden's" and "Femme Fatale" in addition to her solo career. Nita is the first female Signature Artist for Ibanez Guitars too!

"Dead Inside" is the debut single off Nita Strauss' new record (due Spring/2022) Look for the "Winter Wasteland Tour" (11/10 - 12/18)

David Draiman says about "Dead Inside" - "We live in an age of over-stimulation. We're barraged on a daily basis by sound bites of every kind. Driven into a media driven frenzy, we've become hopeless outrage addicts, dead to the true travesties and injustices of the world that are right in front of our eyes. Nothing shocks us anymore. After all, how can you be shocked, when you can no longer trust?"

"Serendipity can be really cool. We've been friends for years. Nita sent me the track…I didn't have time to work on it right away…then in literally a couple of days, while killing time in Santa Monica, the whole thing just came together. Incredibly proud of how it turned out and honored to be a part of it." - David Draiman

"This is my first time releasing my own music with a vocalist, and I am so honored to take this step alongside a legend like David Draiman. David's voice and powerful lyrics took this song to a level I could never have imagined! And we are so excited to unleash this song on the world" - Nita Strauss

Los Angeles born guitarist Nita Strauss has become a force to be reckoned with in the music world, dazzling audiences across the US, UK, Europe, South America, Asia, Australia and Africa. Most fans will recognize Nita as Alice Cooper's touring guitarist, but she has also played with R&B star Jermaine Jackson, early MTV darlings Femme Fatale, video game supergroup Critical Hit and popular tribute band The Iron Maidens. Her skill, exuberant stage presence and love for all things about her instrument have earned her a stellar reputation in the music industry and endorsements including Ibanez Guitars, Marshall Amplification, DiMarzio pickups, Monster Energy and more. In January 2018, she was officially announced as the first ever female Ibanez signature artist with her own model, the Ibanez JIVA. Nita has been featured on the covers of many worldwide print magazines and on dozens of albums, trailers, and soundtracks, including Heroes Of The Storm (Blizzard) and Grammy-nominated Metal GearRising: Revengeance (Konami/ Platinum Games); and is the author of the Guitar World column "Like A Hurricane". She is one of the most sought after clinicians in the industry and has done extensive clinic tours across multiple continents. Nita has performed many times with WWE, including Wrestlemania and NXT Takeover. Her consistent touring schedule has shown her to play in front of over a million audience members per year consistently for the past several years. In 2021, Nita also became the official in-house guitarist for the LA Rams NFL team, playing every home game at SoFi Stadium.

Iron Maiden’s ‘Legacy Of The Beast’ Video Game features Ghost’s Papa Emeritus IV

imgstpa2021t
Iron Maiden have been collaborating with other metal artists in their free-to-play mobile video game 'Legacy Of The Beast' and now Ghost is playing! Ghost's current front persona Papa Emeritus IV is now appearing in the game dubbed 'Mascarade Diabolique'. That event will end on November 12th at 7:00pm EDT. Past 'Legacy Of The Beast' collaborations include Amon Amarth and Lacuna Coil.

An official press release said of the collaboration:
"The game's Mascarade Diabolique event is an ode to both bands' lore taking its broad themes from the cover of Iron Maiden's 2003 album "Dance of Death" and the video for Ghost's 2018 song, 'Dance Macabre,'. In this new storyline, Eddie and Papa Emeritus IV are both invited to a mysterious party in Transylvania (taken from the intro to A Dance Macabre & also surely a nod to the first Maiden instrumental track of the same name on their debut album!)
They soon discover that things are getting out of hand, even faster than usual, as a sinister force has mastered the power to mimic the un-bindable will of the sentient powers of free will and individuality, in an effort to bind them to its control. Together they must fight through the hordes of mind-controlled revelers to confront the corrupted mimic, Cardinal Immortus, an evil clone of Papa Emeritus."

"I'm happy to see that my creature is being led into [Maiden's] world. That is a cool thing, both very humbling and flattering." - Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge

New Bullet For My Valentine! Music Video and Album details! BFMV SaWeeeeet!

BFMV21
Here's a new one from Bullet For My Valentine "Knives" with their self-titled album coming November 5th.
"This is the beginning of Bullet 2.0. It signifies where we are right now. The music is fresh, it's aggressive, it's more visceral and passionate than it's ever been." - Vocalist and lead guitarist Matt Tuck

"I think it's the most ferocious side of Bullet For My Valentine that I've ever known. It's time for us to put out a really angry, heavy, aggressive record. I just can't wait to grimace on stage! I wanted to come out guns blazing, f***ing middle fingers flying, and just go for the throat. I think this is a far more aggressive, intense part of Bullet For My Valentine. It's always been there. I've just never opened the floodgates on it. I want to take people's heads off in a metaphorical way." - Lead guitarist Michael "Padge" Paget

Give it a look and listen!
