UPDATE: Halestorm - Back From The Dead (Official Video) throat punch \m/\m/

"Back From The Dead" IS NOW AVAILABLE HERE! Halestorm spent the last few months recording its new album for a tentative late 2021 release.

"Up from the dirt I rise. It'd be so much easier to just sink into the hole that I have dug for myself, the grave that this world, broken trust, guilt, toxic relationships, pressure, anxiety and depression have helped me create. But that's not who I am. Is it harder to pick myself up and out of the blackness that sometimes plagues my mind? Yes. But no one ever said being your best self is easy.

Self love is a full time job. And as always, music comes to the rescue. My words and messages in my songs that I've been so lucky to have unleashed for others empowerment… is also my empowerment. It is my life light, providing my nutrients from a muse on high, a fickle but gracious muse that enables me to balance my emotions, and manifest my destiny.

It reminds me how to love, and who looks back at me in this house of mirrors. A reflection sometimes bent, but never broken. Through music we heal, and rock forward, knowing that we are not alone on this journey. With horns raised, we march through the quicksand, and together we make it to the other side, hell cannot hold us down"
- I hear you, I see you, and I love you, Lzzy

"We Did Everything In Our Power To Help And Couldn't Get Through To Him" say Joey Jordison's Bandmates In SINSAENUM

Sinsaenum

Joey Jordison passed away last week and SINSAENUM posted a heartfelt statement after the loss of their drummer and co-founder. Joey was only 46. The band released 3 EPs and 2 full-length records between 2016 and 2018 and Joey played on all of them. SINSAENUM plan to continue work on their new record, which they will dedicate to Jordison.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of our friend and brother Joey Jordison. He was of course one of the most influential drummers in the genre, completely rewriting the game of metal drumming, and it was truly an honor to share even just a small part of that with him. He brought something to the table that no other musician could, and his love and passion for music was unmatched in a world of jaded artists"

"For us Joey was family, and like family we argued and cried, but mostly laughed, and cared deeply for one another. His public image had a serious tone, with an evil exterior, yet he had the biggest heart, and we were lucky to be able to see the softer side of him. Joey also had his demons, and nothing hurts more than knowing that we did everything in our power to help and couldn't get through to him. He never felt he was better than anyone and would go out of this way to put everything, and everyone above his own needs"

"Our hearts go out to Amanda, to his family, and to the true friends that were checking in on him. And to all our fans and friends who reached out to us in this time of mourning, thank you."

"Considering everything; moving on will be difficult at first, especially since we had already started writing the new album, but we will persevere, and will honor his legacy in everything we do moving forward. This next record will be dedicated to the memory of him, as that's what Joey would have wanted. Hails, and Horns as Joey would say. We miss you Jsaenum, and will love you forever."

SINSAENUM is currently guitarists Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast) and Frédéric Leclercq (Amahiru, Kreator), bassist Heimoth (Seth), and vocalists Attila Csihar (Mayhem) and Sean Zatorsky (Dååth, ex-Chimaira). http://www.sinsaenum.com/
