SLIPKNOT have shared "Yen," a brand new single off their widely anticipated new album, THE END, SO FAR, which will be released September 30th on Roadrunner Records (album art / track listing below). Available today on all streaming platforms, "Yen" is a showcase of SLIPKNOT's exceptional range and sees one of the world's most popular and deeply enigmatic bands relentlessly charting new ground as they continue to redefine, revitalize, and reimagine the scope of rock music.

"Yen" follows the forthcoming album's lead single "The Dying Song (Time To Sing)" which arrived last month accompanied by an official music video directed by the band's own M. Shawn 'clown' Crahan - watch it HERE. The track garnered widespread acclaim upon its arrival with The FADER declaring "It absolutely rips," and Rolling Stone praising it as a "punishing new elegy."

Produced By SLIPKNOT and Joe Barresi, THE END, SO FAR is available for pre-order today with several vinyl variants available at www.slipknot1.com. THE END, SO FAR includes the band's 2021 surprise single "The Chapeltown Rag" and follows their widely celebrated 2019 album WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND, which marked SLIPKNOT's third consecutive #1 on the Billboard 200. The release made a massive global impact with #1 debuts in the Official Album Charts of twelve countries around the world, including the UK, Australia, Canada and Mexico, with Top 5 debuts in an additional twelve countries including Germany, France and Sweden.

This fall SLIPKNOT will embark on the third leg of their enormously popular KNOTFEST Roadshow headline tour, VIP tickets for which are available now. Leveling up their live show yet again, the upcoming tour will begin September 20th in Nashville, TN and will see the band joined by special guests Ice Nine Kills and Crown The Empire. The fall run will also include highly-touted festival appearances at Louisville's Louder Than Life and Sacramento's Aftershock (tour itinerary below). Furthermore, SLIPKNOT are set to spend the summer traversing Europe for a slate of international festival and headline dates including their own KNOTFEST Germany and Finland festivals. Metallica premiered the live video of their Stranger Things-themed performance of "Master of Puppets" at Lollapalooza last week.

During the solo, the video screens showed footage from the Netflix "Stranger Things" character Eddie Munson shredding the classic crusher "MASTER OF PUPPETS" during the season four finale, which has led to a newfound thrash glory for the song \m/\m/

The Metallica and Stranger Things collaboration continued throughout Lollapalooza weekend when Eddie Munson actor Joseph Quinn met the metal legends for the first time backstage at the festival. Netflix posted a video of the meeting, which saw Metallica and Quinn jam "Master of Puppets" together. Metallica also gifted Quinn with a signed replica of the guitar he played on Stranger Things.

Band Raided Inkcarceration Parking Lot...And Got Added To The Festival - Silly Goose

Late last Saturday night (July 16) at Inkcarceration, the band Silly Goose drove to Ohio from Atlanta and set up a guerilla style impromptu performance in a parking lot on the back of their modified flat bed truck and trailer. (Photo Credit: Kate Kastelic)

Danny Wimmer proceeded to the parking lot to see what was happening. Initially frustrated by the unauthorized show, Wimmer was so impressed by the band's perseverance and talent--and immediate fan response--that he offered him a spot to open the Inkcarceration 3rd stage the next day.

Ultimately, that performance was canceled due to a delayed festival start time because of severe weather in the area, but the band was given a last minute performance slot later in the day to close out the 3rd stage which drew hundreds of fans.

Wimmer was so impressed by the band's hard work, dedication and talent that he also invited them to join him for an interview on the DWPresents on Twitch channel. During the interview, Wimmer offered the band a demo deal with his label Alchemy Recordings and he invited them to play at DWP's Louder Than Life festival in Louisville this September.

Silly Goose is known for taking matters into their own hands to get their music out to fans. Their guerrilla style performances have been held on the street, in restaurants like McDonald's, and in other festival parking lots, and sometimes get the band into trouble, but they continue to push forward to get their music out to new fans.

Brawl At Walt Disney World Caught on Camera

Sorry.  You're getting a Friday rant from your boy, Kirsch.  What the hell is wrong with people?  I feel like someone has got to say it...so it might as well be ME on my little ol' Blitz blog.  Maybe someone will see it and maybe someone will share it and maybe someone will learn from it.

Remember in Back to the Future II when Biff got a hold of the sports almanac?  I feel like that's what we're living in right now - Biff's Alternate 1985.  Where everything bad is good.  It HAS TO stop.

Check out the video below.  Mickey Mouse had to be called in to break up a massive fight right in the middle of his house on Wednesday.

Two brawling families turned Disney World's Magic Kingdom into an MMA event with kicks and punches thrown for several minutes before security, and eventually police officers, arrived to separate everybody. The melee occurred in the Orlando park's Fantasyland area outside of Mickey's PhilharMagic theater show. Witnesses say the families were all waiting in line when one woman left to retrieve her phone from her electric mobility scooter. When she returned to rejoin her family, the other family tried to block her from getting back into the line.

When the show was over, the woman's family waited outside the theater for the other family and they immediately came to blows. One of the men involved had to be taken to the hospital with facial lacerations. It's unclear whether any arrests were made.
