Fred Durst Wants To Launch Coachella Alternative

Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst is opening up about his plans to create an alternative to Coachella.

In a post on X, the musician responded to a post from rapper Lil Wayne writing "lets start our own experience gathering and our own acknowledgment event to welcome all of the uninvited." He added "I've got a couple ideas I've been working on for quite some while now." Durst's post was a response to Lil Wayne saying "it's truly a humbling experience when events like Coachella and the Grammys come around and like clockwork, I'm uninvited and uninvolved."

Limp Bizkit has never played at Coachella. Lil Wayne also has yet to perform a solo set at the music festival in Indio, California.
