Southwest Airlines no longer welcomes human-like robots on board its flights.
Earlier this month, an employee of a Dallas-based company called The Robot Studio flew Southwest from Dallas Love Field to Las Vegas along with a robot companion named Stewie. The company had bought a plane ticket for Stewie, and had made sure its battery was FAA compliant.
The very next day, Southwest banned "human-like or animal-like robots" from its flights, either as passengers or as checked baggage.
