We have teamed up with the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center for Ronni's Rescues BarkToberfest! Check out local vendors and maybe even go home with your new best friend! Every dog adopted during the event will go home with a special doggy bag filled with goodies, resources, and essentials from our partners to get their new journey off to a great start thanks to Hollywood feed Grandview and Central Ohio Canine Academy!

And this is a GREAT day to adopt because adoption fees are waived, and if you find your new furry bestie, I'm even paying the $18 dog license fee!

The Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center is waiving adoption fees all month long as part of the nationwide Clear the Shelters campaign. Through August 31, you can adopt any available dog for free. The only cost is the required $18 Franklin County dog license.

Every dog goes home spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, making it easier to welcome your new family member.
Not ready to commit? Try a doggy sleepover! On August 14 and 15, you can take a shelter dog home for the weekend. The shelter provides the food, leash, toys, and everything else you'll need. If you fall in love, you can make it official.

The Franklin County Dog Shelter is located at 4340 Tamarack Boulevard on Columbus' northeast side. No appointment is needed—just stop by and meet the dogs waiting for a second chance.

The Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center is giving you the chance to play host during their Spring Sleepover Weekend, happening April 10th through the 12th. Are you thinking about adopting a dog? Or would you simply like to give a shelter dog a relaxing weekend away from the kennels? If so, this event is for you!

Starting Friday, you can stop by the shelter and take an adoptable dog home for a weekend sleepover—no long-term commitment required. It's all about giving these pups a break from the kennel, helping them relax, and letting their true personalities shine.

And they've got you covered—participants get everything they need, including food, bedding, toys, treats, and even a leash.
