I Prevail announce that co-vocalist Brian Burkheiser is out of the band. Watch Video w/ Eric V from Sonic.

Burkheiser had been handling the "clean vocals" since the group formed in 2013, but fans had been wondering on social media over the past few days why he didn't appear with the band at Sonic Temple last weekend in Columbus, Ohio.

The band says, "This was a difficult decision, but we believe it is the right one and we are all grateful for the 10 epic years we shared together. We wish Brian nothing but success and happiness in his future endeavors."

They added that singer Eric Vanlerberghe will handle all the lead vocals at their live shows supported by guitarist Dylan Bowman. That's what they did last year when Burkheiser had to bow out of a spring tour after undergoing another surgery for Eagle Syndrome, which is when "atypical structures" in the head and neck cause pain in the face or throat.

I Prevail also added that they have "new music coming soon."

Godsmack Members Confirm They Quit the Band...last year. Marks the end of an era.

IMG_4858
Half of Godsmack left the band last year. Godsmack drummer Shannon Larkin said that he and guitarist Tony Rombola aren't playing on the band's European tour because they both quit last year.

In a since-deleted video on his Facebook page, Larkin said, "We did quit the band last year after lots of talking to Sully [Erna] and Robbie [Merrill], and they understood that we didn't want to tour anymore. That's the reason. We understood that they wanted to tour, and so we understood each other. And in the end Godsmack's out there touring and we are out here happily living our lives."

Larkin added, "Tony's turning 60. I'm turning 58. It's not a physical thing. We just want to be home with everything that we love. 40 years I've been touring, 28 years for Rombola. We're getting a little older, so we decided to quit."

Rombola and Larkin were replaced on Godsmack's European tour by Evanescence drummer Will Hunt and guitarist Sam Bam Koltun, who's played in Dorothy and Faster Pussycat. Just before the first show, Erna appeared on Bulgaria's Z-Rock radio and said, "I can tell you that there has definitely been some changes that have happened in the last few months. They are changes that we're not sure will be permanent or temporary, but everybody and everyone is in good health and in really good spirits."

Guns n' Roses have announced that drummer Frank Ferrer has left the group After 19 Years Isaac Carpenter fills in

UPDATE : Guns N' Roses announce AWOLNATION's Isaac Carpenter as new drummer following the departure of longtime member Frank Ferrer. Isaac Carpenter, who's played in AWOLNATION for the last decade, will man the kit for the 2025 world tour dates, which begin in Asia in May. Carpenter also played with GN'R bassist Duff McKagan in his band "Loaded".

Former Guns N' Roses drummer Frank Ferrer is speaking out on Instagram following the recent announcement that he's departing the band after playing with them for the last 19 years.
"The outpouring of love I have felt from the incredible fans of Guns N' Roses and my peers over the past 24 hours has been tremendous. I have immense gratitude and love always for Axl Rose and the band but am disappointed that this chapter came to an end. It has been an incredible 19 years. Guns N' Roses has given me life-changing memories and experiences. A huge thanks to management, the crew, and fans for giving me memories that I will cherish for my lifetime. I hope I see you all again soon!"
--------------------------------------------
Drummer Frank Ferrer has departed the throne for Guns N' Roses. Ferrer was the longest-serving drummer in the group's history, starting with the Axl Rose-led lineup back in 2006. His last gig with the Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan lineup was November 5th, 2023 in Mexico. A statement from the band reads:

- Guns N' Roses Announce The Amicable Exit Of Frank Ferrer

The band thanks Frank for his friendship, creativity, and sturdy presence over the past 19 years, and wish him success in the next chapter of his musical journey. Frank first joined GNR during a show in June 2006 helping anchor the rhythm section during subsequent tours, including their recent outings featuring the reunited trio of Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan. His last show with the band took place November 5, 2023 in Mexico."

The departure is a bit of surprise as Ferrer posted on his Instagram back in December about being excited for GnR's 2025 tour, which starts May 23rd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and continues through the end of July.

It's unclear who fill the vacancy. The band's current live schedule runs May 1st through July 31st with a changeup in openers from Rival Sons, Public Enemy and Sex Pistols (f/ Frank Carter)
