Shomo says, "There are times where we feel like there is a way better version of ourselves somewhere deep inside that we need to find and bring back to the forefront of our lives. Never "Doubt" Beartooth as they drop another New Song! Wicked Video!

btpinksurface
Columbus Band BEARTOOTH have released a video for their new single, "Doubt Me" which is among the 11 tracks on their fifth full-length album, "The Surface" due out October 13th. The Surface is the follow-up to 2021's Below, and also includes the previously released songs "Riptide," "Sunshine!" and "Might Love Myself."

"We all have our own struggles that we deal with quietly. Sometimes, it can be hard to explain to the people around you what you're dealing with. What may be perceived by others as weakness is actually a battle with yourself that you know will be conquered. Being in the thick of serious change is never easy, and being brought down by those who don't understand can add to the weight. Know that when you're in those moments, sometimes you need to just put your head down and fight with all you have, regardless of whatever people say you're capable of at the moment." - frontman Caleb Shomo

Beartooth Drops New Single and Announces New Album and Release Date

Screenshot-2023-07-29-at-1.01.17-PM

Beartooth just named their 5th album. It's called The Surface.

Caleb Shomo has really struggled with mental health over the years and believes it starts with "a healthy relationship with one's self". He says The Surface is "the story of my beginnings in the new world I've created for myself."

He said there were two paths he could go down. The one where he does nothing and continues down a self-destructive path ultimately ending in his demise or the one where he works on his mental health and the relationship with himself, "no matter how difficult or painful".

You can hear exactly what he means in the new single "Might Love Myself". Scroll down to watch the music video.

The Surface drops on October 13th.

Here's another surprise single from Beartooth! SUNSHINE! (visualizer video)

Beartooth

Here's the latest single from Columbus' BEARTOOTH. The song might be a precursor to their forthcoming fifth studio album. BEARTOOTH have kicked off their spring co-headlining tour with Trivium. Malevolence and Archetypes Collide are also appearing on that run.

"'Sunshine!' is about a lot of things, the most obvious being seasonal depression. It's always been prevalent in my life but as I grow older, it gets more intense. This song is also about moving on from the dark place I was in during 2020-2021. At the end of the day, life should be enjoyed and a BEARTOOTH song doesn't always have to be miserable." - Caleb Shomo
