OhioIf you saw a photo of an alligator supposedly swimming near Scioto Audubon Metro Park over the weekend…you weren't the only one wondering if Columbus decided it was time to become Florida.

The photo blew up on Facebook, with hundreds of people debating whether it was real. But both Columbus & Franklin County Metro Parks and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources told 614Now they believe the image appears to be AI-generated. The man who originally posted it hasn't responded to any questions about the photo.

So for now, there's no confirmed gator in the Scioto.

 If you're headed to Ohio Stadium to see AC/DC with The Pretty Reckless on July 15th, you might want to start the party a little early.

Seventh Son Brewing, located at 1101 N. 4th Street, has partnered with RESCUEDohio to release a new blond ale and the cans feature three of the rescue pups: Walter, Cowboy, and Petunia and they are adorable! They describe the beer as a light blond ale with a slightly toasty flavor that finishes crisp and refreshing, and six-packs are currently available at the Seventh Son taproom.

The collaboration is part of a fundraiser benefiting RESCUEDohio, a volunteer-run nonprofit organization that has been helping place dogs into loving homes since 2015. The group operates on a "dog-first" mission, working to match dogs with families that are the best fit for them.

What's better than a festival dedicated to chicken and craft beer?

The Chicken and Beer Festival is back in Columbus on June 7th, and it's totally free to get in. It's happening at Dodge Park from noon to 8PM, with 10 of the city's best food trucks with special chicken dishes just for the event.

There's even a Best Chicken Contest between 12 and 3. And on the beer side, 10 local breweries are jumping in with unique, one-day-only beers—everything from malty to hoppy and probably a few weird ones that we'll either love or pretend to like for the story.

There'll be live music, games, and stuff for the family too. The full lineup of trucks and breweries hasn't dropped yet, but honestly? Just block the date.
