Foo Fighters played the first full capacity arena concert in New York since the beginning of March of 2020. Proof of vaccination was required for entry.
They dedicated the Madison Square Garden show to the memory of the band's longtime stage manager Andy Pollard who passed away on June 18th. He served as Foo Fighters stage manager for 12 years.They posted on social media, "We are shocked and devastated by this loss. We can't imagine being onstage without Andy there by our side. He was not only a key member of our team but a dear friend and wonderful father."
On a lighter note, they brought DAVE CHAPPELLE on stage to perform a cover of Radiohead's "Creep". and Dave sings the entire thing!
