Marilyn Manson has announced a new album called One Assassination Under God - Chapter 2.

The shock rocker's 13th studio effort is due out Aug. 14 and is the follow-up to 2024's One Assassination Under God - Chapter 1. Lead single "Exit Wound" is out now alongside a video, which you can watch below.

"I am proud to give you the second chapter of One Assassination Under God," Manson writes in a Facebook post. "This completes my story."

"I used each stone that was thrown at me to sharpen my edges," the post continues. "I outgrew purgatory and carved these songs into the skin of the world. As you listen I hope it forms a scar that you cannot forget."

One Assassination Under God - Chapter 1 marked Manson's first album since his ex fiancée, Evan Rachel Wood, accused him of abuse in 2021. Several other women came forward with allegations against Manson, and he's currently facing a lawsuit filed by his former assistant Ashley Walters.

Manson has denied all allegations, and an investigation into him was dropped by the Los Angeles County district attorney in 2025.

Manson will launch a U.S. tour alongside Rob Zombie in August. (Sept 2 Blossom Music Center Cuyahoga Falls, OH) He's playing a pair of LA shows in the fall to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his 1996 album, Antichrist Superstar.

According to MORRISON, "Becoming" is about "transforming out of the darkness and negativity of certain lifestyle choices and becoming a strong, positive and powerful force. For an in-depth description, you would have to ask Sully about the lyrics that he wrote."

MORRISON goes on to say that "when the music to 'Becoming' was finally finished, in my mind there was only one person I could imagine singing it, and that was Sully Erna. His work with Godsmack over the decades has just proven his voice to be one of the most powerful in rock music. Plus he's a great guy to hang with, so fortunately for me, not only was his response 'Absolutely I'll sing it.' We got to record it in Los Angeles together while he was here. It was a killer vibe, and when we were all at the Above Ground show late last year here in LA, it seemed only fitting for me to ask Nuno to play lead (keeping it Boston on this track!). And again, he graciously agreed, and absolutely killed it. It's been a pleasure to work with both Sully and Nuno on this song—it's the perfect collaboration to launch this new album of mine!"

The upcoming HOLLOW will follow the success of 2024's THE MORRISON PROJECT format with 12 songs, half sung by Morrison and half sung by a handful of MORRISON's friends. Guests include Dexter Holland, Marilyn Manson, Chuck D, B Real, Duff McKagan, Steve Stevens, DMC, and the above-mentioned Sully Erna and Nuno Bettencourt, among others. "Forgive Me," "The Tailor," "No Suspects," "Another Day," "Leave No Trace," and "Becoming" are among the song titles.

Ronnie Radke attended Marilyn Manson's birthday party and we got a new song out of it! Intense video! Killer song! Check it out! Director Jensen Noen (In This Moment, Motionless In White) was once again brought onboard to oversee the video, which was co-written by Wage War's Cody Quistad and Tyler Smyth of Dangerkids. "God Is a Weapon" is a slow-burner with an ethereal feel.

Manson, released a new album, One Assassination Under God - Chapter 1, in November.
