In case you missed the kick ass Metallica performance of “Enter Sandman” after the Super Bowl and the rare use of their music for a new Ford F-150 campaign! Brace your face and watch here! \m/\m/

Metallica have yet to be invited to perform at any of the Super Bowl' halftime shows. This year was no different, so we'll just have to settle for their performance of "Enter Sandman" on late night TV after the big game. The track is also being used by Ford to promote their 2021 desert-racing F-150 Raptor.

"When we thought about what song captured the new Raptor in all its dune-bashing, desert-running glory, one stood out: 'Enter Sandman'. It's a song that has almost never been used commercially, but luckily Metallica are Raptor fans."

- Ford's Chief Communications Officer Mark Truby

Ozzy is 1/2 way done with his new album & his Guest Appearance list will blow minds!

OOTopHat-Promo
Ozzy has been working hard on his next album with Producer Andrew Watt. This will be Ozzy's 13th studio album and will be a doozy, because according to a recent update from Mr. Watt, the sessions are underway and they have enlisted Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Watt did an interview with Guitar World and talked about protocols on keeping Ozzy safe during the recording sessions, who impressive list of guest musicians and how the album is sounding...

"We're about halfway through. But, you know, it's been hard with COVID and everything to keep him safe. We all test every day before we work and it's just me, Ozzy and my engineer. So it's taken a little longer this time, but it's cool because the last one was made in this, like, swift love affair of passion, like, 'Oh my God, this is incredible!' [laughs] But this time everyone's moving a little slower and we're taking a little more time. And the songs, there's some songs on there that are like eight or nine minutes long that are these really crazy journeys. I'm really excited about it."

"There's a bunch of people involved. I can't say for sure until the end, but I started doing a bunch of basic tracks with Chad and Robert Trujillo, who used to play in Ozzy's band. And Taylor Hawkins also came in and played a bunch on the record as well, which adds a different flair – it kind of harkened back to Ozzy's '80s era, in a great way. And I think it's so cool for a rock fan to be able to listen to half an album with Chad Smith on drums, and then you flip it over and you get to hear Taylor Hawkins.

And you know, the last album was really special for everyone involved. And so there was no point in Ozzy or me doing this again unless we thought we could bring something new to the table. And I feel like we're achieving that."

"Well, we're just halfway through, so it could still change. Some of these songs we have could wind up not even making the album. So I can't really say yet. But in the end it's all Ozzy's decision. When he tells me we've got the album, that's when I'll stop."

We'll be streaming LIVE from HQ on Saturday, November 14th for our first-ever worldwide pay-per-view event where we'll perform a special acoustic show to benefit our foundation… as we play, you watch, all in real-time!

This will be our second acoustic concert to raise funds for All Within My Hands, and while we're disappointed that we cannot all be together in person, we're very excited that fans around the world will be able to watch the performance as it happens in the comfort of your own surroundings. We'll kick off the show at 2 PM Pacific Time that day, so hopefully, most of you can join us then, but if not, never fear… your ticket will allow you to watch the show as many times as you like within a 48-hour period once you start the stream.

Tickets are on sale now with four packages available: watch the show, add on the event shirt and audio download, or even join us digitally on our virtual fan wall for one song. Get your ticket at 2nu.gs/Metallica.

We'll also have some incredible auction items and experiences available for you to bid on a little closer to the show. As always, 100% of money raised, including ticket fees and auction items, goes directly to help someone in need; we pick up all the expenses to produce the show.

We're incredibly proud of what All Within My Hands has accomplished, especially this year with so many of our friends in need. In 2020 alone, AWMH has donated $645,000 to a number of COVID-19 related relief funds including Feeding America, Direct Relief, and several charities assisting those suddenly without work in the entertainment and hospitality industries. This fall, the Foundation also donated $350,000 to several agencies aiding those affected by wildfires up and down the West Coast. Finally, Metallica Scholars is now in its second year, supported by a $1.5 million grant benefiting 15 community colleges across the country.

We hope you'll join us for this very unique event on November 14th as all ticket sales will directly benefit the Foundation. We look forward to continuing these programs in 2021 and beyond with your help. For more info about All Within My Hands, please visit AllWithinMyHands.org."- Metallica
