UPDATE: Beavis And Butt-Head will head into space in the New Movie. The plot has been shared for the next full-length film 'Beavis And Butt-Head'. With a premiere date pending, the Mike Judge feature has been titled 'Beavis And Butt-Head Do The Universe'. Both it and a new series starring the two are being prepared for Paramount+, who provided the film's plot:
"In perhaps the dumbest space movie ever made, Beavis and Butt-Head are sentenced to Space Camp by a "creative" judge in 1998. Their obsession with a docking simulator (huh huh) leads to a trip on the Space Shuttle, with predictably disastrous results. After going through a black hole, they reemerge in our time, where they look for love, misuse iPhones, and are hunted by the Deep State. Spoiler: They don't score."

Animated metalheads 'Beavis And Butt-Head' are set to return this year for a second feature-length film. Creator, Mike Judge, has confirmed his plans to release a new movie featuring the pair via the Paramount+ streaming service sometime "soon". A tweet shared on January 4th by Judge revealed middle aged versions of the film's stars
"Beavis and Butt-Head will be returning this year with a brand new movie and more on Paramount+. No exact date yet, but soon. They need some time to get back in shape"... As for the movie "I've got some ideas. I think it would have to be something that makes it relevant today. I think I might've figured out a way to do that. "

Beavis And Butt-Head originally aired between 1993 and 1997, and was brought back again in 2011 for one season. In July of 2020 it was announced that Comedy Central had picked up the animated series for a two season order, marking what would be its third revival. Thus far it has yet to air.

"The Batman" Movie was Inspired By Kurt Cobain (Intense Trailer!)

bmnirv02_20211220-232152_1

The Batman: "There is nothing more terrifying than a man who has made up his mind."

Batman director Matt Reeves is crediting Kurt Cobain for the inspiration behind his version of the iconic Gotham superhero. The first trailer for the Spring reboot features Nirvana's "Something in the Way" and a more recent trailer includes an orchestral version of the same song. In an interview with Empire, Reeves shares that the music selection was not coincidental. Reeves says while writing the first act of the movie he listened to the song and that it created an image in his head of a fictionalized Kurt Cobain in a decaying manor. Reeves says that's where the inspiration came from to shift Bruce Wayne from a "playboy" type character to one who's undergone great tragedy to become a recluse.

"When I write, I listen to music, and as I was writing the first act, I put on Nirvana's 'Something in the Way', That's when it came to me that, rather than make Bruce Wayne the playboy version we've seen before, there's another version who had gone through a great tragedy and become a recluse. I started making this connection to Gus Van Sant's Last Days, and the idea of this fictionalized version of Kurt Cobain being in this kind of decaying manor,"

Reeves adds he was reminded of the 2005 Gus Van Sant film Last Days, a fictional film that's loosely based on Cobain's death.

Cobain and The Batman are immediately connected in the film's trailer with the song "Something in the Way." The movie stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader and hits theaters March 4, 2022.

The Batman isn't the first superhero film to use Nirvana's music. "Come as You Are" is featured in Captain Marvel, while Black Widow opens with a choir version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

Check out the trippy trailer of Corey Taylor's latest movie adventure, the Halloween horror anthology "Bad Candy"

badcandyposter
Corey Taylor can't sit still and that's good for us! 2 horror movies, a solo album and possibly new Slipknot in 2021. He's been tapped to star in this latest gruesome masterpiece structured in the classic horror anthology format, which follows local Halloween stories of both myth and lessons learned in the community of New Salem. The film also stars Zach Galligan (Gremlins, Waxwork). Taylor plays a radio DJ who weaves scary stories to his listeners, perfect for Slipknots' frontman....

"It's a pretty cool little horror movie that has a linear story going through it, but it's really kind of made up of different short stories — almost like a 'Creepshow' kind of format, which is pretty cool. It's basically re-enactments of the stories that I'm actually telling on the radio, for the most part. It was a small-budget film done by some people who knew my manager, and who had worked with him before. And they asked if I wanted to be a part of it, and I was, like, 'Yeah, of course. I'm totally down. I've been horror fan my whole life"
-Taylor to FirstGlance Film Festivals,

Taylor also stars in another horror film called Rucker which is currently in post-production.
