Here's IN THIS MOMENT'S New Song For ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ in theaters NOW! (March 24th)

ITMJW
In This Moment have released a new song for the fourth chapter of the 'John Wick' movie franchise. "I Would Die For You" will appear on the official soundtrack for the movie which was co-written by composer/metal musician Tyler Bates (Who oversaw the movies score alongside Joel J. Richard)

"'I Would Die for You is a song that I wrote with Maria Brink and Chris Howorth of 'In This Moment'. Chad Stahelski, the director, literally, out of the blue, called me up, and he's like, 'Yo, Tyler, do you know this singer, I love her, Maria-something, she's in this band, In This…?' I'm like, 'In This Moment?' He said, 'Yeah, that's it!' I said, 'I'm actually working on their new record right now. [Laughs] They are real fans of John Wick, which is really cool." - Tyler Bates

According to those who have seen the feature, this song also plays over the movie's credits. The Keanu Reeves starring actioner is due to open wide in theaters March 24th.

Here's a teaser from the sequel to 'A Christmas Story' when Ralphie Returns 39 Years Later. Thanks to HBO Max, we can jump on the nostalgia bus in the upcoming sequel to the 1983 classic 'A Christmas Story' which makes it's debut Nov. 17th. OH RALHIE!! Let the Movie Quotes and the Pink Nightmare begin!

Familiar sets, movie lines and sounds with an all grown up Ralphie (Peter Billingsley) and his highly coveted Red Ryder BB gun ("You'll shoot your eye out, kid.")

A Christmas Story is directed by Clay Kaytis. The film is written by executive producer Nick Schenk. The film is also produced by Billingsley, now 51 and Vince Vaughn through their Wild West Picture Show Productions for Legendary and Warner Bros.

The original movie is set in the 1940s and follows 9-year-old Ralphie and his desire to obtain a Red Ryder BB rifle for Christmas. The sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter, "will take place in the 1970s and sees an adult Ralphie return to his house on Cleveland Street to deliver his kids a magical Christmas like the one he had growing up"

The creators hope to recreate the same real-life tone of the first movie by showing a grown Ralphie reconnect with childhood friends and reconcile the passing of his Old Man (Darren McGavin in the 1983 movie)

They also plan to include "callbacks to the initial film," which previously inspired several related projects including television film adaptations, a theatrical sequel, a direct-to-video sequel and stage play and musical adaptions. Fox aired A Christmas Story Live! in 2017, starring Matthew Broderick, Maya Rudolph, Chris Diamantopoulos, Jane Krakowski, Ana Gasteyer and more, featuring Andy Walken as young Ralphie.

UPDATE: Beavis And Butt-Head will head into space in the New Movie. The plot has been shared for the next full-length film 'Beavis And Butt-Head'. With a premiere date pending, the Mike Judge feature has been titled 'Beavis And Butt-Head Do The Universe'. Both it and a new series starring the two are being prepared for Paramount+, who provided the film's plot:
"In perhaps the dumbest space movie ever made, Beavis and Butt-Head are sentenced to Space Camp by a "creative" judge in 1998. Their obsession with a docking simulator (huh huh) leads to a trip on the Space Shuttle, with predictably disastrous results. After going through a black hole, they reemerge in our time, where they look for love, misuse iPhones, and are hunted by the Deep State. Spoiler: They don't score."

Animated metalheads 'Beavis And Butt-Head' are set to return this year for a second feature-length film. Creator, Mike Judge, has confirmed his plans to release a new movie featuring the pair via the Paramount+ streaming service sometime "soon". A tweet shared on January 4th by Judge revealed middle aged versions of the film's stars
"Beavis and Butt-Head will be returning this year with a brand new movie and more on Paramount+. No exact date yet, but soon. They need some time to get back in shape"... As for the movie "I've got some ideas. I think it would have to be something that makes it relevant today. I think I might've figured out a way to do that. "

Beavis And Butt-Head originally aired between 1993 and 1997, and was brought back again in 2011 for one season. In July of 2020 it was announced that Comedy Central had picked up the animated series for a two season order, marking what would be its third revival. Thus far it has yet to air.

"The Batman" Movie was Inspired By Kurt Cobain (Intense Trailer!)

bmnirv02_20211220-232152_1

The Batman: "There is nothing more terrifying than a man who has made up his mind."

Batman director Matt Reeves is crediting Kurt Cobain for the inspiration behind his version of the iconic Gotham superhero. The first trailer for the Spring reboot features Nirvana's "Something in the Way" and a more recent trailer includes an orchestral version of the same song. In an interview with Empire, Reeves shares that the music selection was not coincidental. Reeves says while writing the first act of the movie he listened to the song and that it created an image in his head of a fictionalized Kurt Cobain in a decaying manor. Reeves says that's where the inspiration came from to shift Bruce Wayne from a "playboy" type character to one who's undergone great tragedy to become a recluse.

"When I write, I listen to music, and as I was writing the first act, I put on Nirvana's 'Something in the Way', That's when it came to me that, rather than make Bruce Wayne the playboy version we've seen before, there's another version who had gone through a great tragedy and become a recluse. I started making this connection to Gus Van Sant's Last Days, and the idea of this fictionalized version of Kurt Cobain being in this kind of decaying manor,"

Reeves adds he was reminded of the 2005 Gus Van Sant film Last Days, a fictional film that's loosely based on Cobain's death.

Cobain and The Batman are immediately connected in the film's trailer with the song "Something in the Way." The movie stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader and hits theaters March 4, 2022.

The Batman isn't the first superhero film to use Nirvana's music. "Come as You Are" is featured in Captain Marvel, while Black Widow opens with a choir version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit."
