A frightening moment on the road for Buckcherry. The band says all of its members and crew are safe following a deadly multi-vehicle crash in South Carolina early Friday morning.

According to a statement from the band, the accident happened around 2 a.m. Friday on Interstate 26 in Spartanburg County while Buckcherry was traveling as part of its Roar Like Thunder Tour.

Reports citing the South Carolina Highway Patrol say the chain of events began with an earlier crash. A driver involved in that collision reportedly exited his vehicle and stepped into the roadway, where he was struck and killed by a Toyota sedan.

It remains unclear exactly what role Buckcherry's tour bus played in the incident or whether the bus made contact with any other vehicles.

The band expressed its deepest condolences to the victim's family and thanked fans for their concern and support following the frightening incident.

Despite the crash, Buckcherry continued with its tour and its scheduled Saturday performance in Fort Lauderdale went ahead as planned.

Formed in 1995, Buckcherry is fronted by singer Josh Todd, who is the band's only remaining original member. Known for hits including "Lit Up" and "Crazy Bitch," the band continues to tour in support of its latest music.

It's time for another trip around the country; Bush is heading out on a U.S. tour this spring. The "Land of Milk and Honey Tour" kicks off April 7th in Pittsburgh and wraps up May 16th at the Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus, Ohio. Stops include Washington D.C., New York, Boston, San Antonio, Seattle, Denver, and more. Wolfgang Van Halen's band Mammoth and James and the Cold Gun will open most dates.
