Perfect timing for the full moon — IN THIS MOMENT have officially unleashed their ninth studio album, WITCH, today, August 28!

The Grammy nominated, multi-platinum rockers' new 11-track album is packed with everything fans love about the band — massive riffs, haunting melodies, Maria Brink's unmistakable vocals and plenty of dark, theatrical energy.

And there are some killer guests along for the ride. Dayseeker join IN THIS MOMENT on the new single "I Want To Believe," while Kim Dracula appears on "Heretic," and Kat Von D joins the band for their cover of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick In The Wall."

The band also dropped a cinematic music video for "I Want To Believe," featuring Dayseeker frontman Rory Rodriguez alongside Maria Brink.

Brink says WITCH is about "embracing the duality within" and turning pain, struggle and persecution into strength and power.

And the timing couldn't be more perfect — the spell has officially been cast on the night of the full moon.

IN THIS MOMENT will take WITCH on the road this fall as part of the TASTE OF CHAOS TOUR, alongside Hollywood Undead, I See Stars, VANA and Melrose Avenue.

Motionless In White just dropped a new one called "R.I.P." - the latest track from their upcoming album DECADES, out July 17th. The 14-track record also features "Afraid of the Dark," their collaboration with Corey Taylor called "Playing God," and their long-awaited cover of Corey Hart's "Sunglasses at Night."

"R.I.P." features guest vocals from Skylar Grey, and frontman Chris Motionless says "Skylar's voice took the song to a whole new level that I never could've achieved on my own. I really love the lyrics for this song, even though though I wrote it through a romantic lens, I love that it can be applied to any moment in your life when you've had a falling out with someone you deeply care about - whether it's a best friend, family member, or romantic partner."

He continues, "The song really hones in on the deafening silence that follows after you've said hurtful things to one another that you wish you could take back. It's meant to capture the tension that exists in that quiet space of separation. You want to apologize and make things right, but you don't know how. You want to tell them you love them more than anything and can't live without them, but there's a lot of pain on both sides that has to be confronted first. All the while, you're left with the crippling uncertainty of whether the relationship can ever recover and move forward, or if it's destined to be laid to rest and gone forever."

Motionless In White just wrapped a run opening for Bring Me The Horizon and they're kicking off their U.S. "Sweat and Blood" headlining tour in July, including a stop at Inkcarceration July 19th. Leg 2 takes place this fall.

Decades features several high-profile and eclectic guest appearances. In addition to Taylor, Sklyar Grey, and Dark Divine's Anthony Martinez also feature on the album. The band recorded Decades in Upstate New York and Los Angeles with co-producers Drew Fulk and Justin "JD" deBlieck and ultimately incorporated their past, present, and future sounds into one cohesive sound. This is Motionless at their very best.

"We were never afraid to take risks," observes Chris. "This band has not only lasted two decades, but we've also outlasted all of the obstacles we've faced. We're still grinding. No matter how far we expand the universe that is Motionless In White, we're going to preserve the heart, soul, and roots of where we came from. We are never going to abandon heartfelt, emotional, and heavy songs. We are never going to abandon what mattered to us the most when we started. We're finding new ways to emphasize those stories with exciting sounds and looks, but the vision is the same. It's always been this grand, dramatic, and theatrical entity. I'm proud we haven't gotten comfortable."

He finishes, "Decades is definitely heavier than some of our past albums. Our current world bred more aggressive energy, anger, and resistance."

Swedish metal favorites Avatar have dropped a brand-new standalone single called "Crying Fire" ahead of their summer European tour, which kicks off this weekend.

The track was recorded during the sessions for their 2025 album Don't Go in the Forest but was held back until now.

Frontman Johannes Eckerström says the band always knew the song was special, but decided to save it for the right moment. He describes "Crying Fire" as a powerful storm of emotion that explores enduring pain and loving with everything you've got.

"Crying Fire" is no throwaway b-side. This is Avatar. The band intentionally withheld the track and decided to strike when the time was right. Fortunately for fans, that time is now.

"Crying Fire' is very special to all of us. It was written and recorded as part of the Don't Go In The Forest sessions. When making the final selection for album tracks, this one was a given. But then we started asking ourselves something: What if we saved the best for later? What if we kept this gem away from the world for a while?," Eckerström explains.

He continues, "It certainly stands tall on its own. I hear a relentless firestorm of emotions. It hits me in a deeply hidden place, and I hope it does the same for you. I could say a lot about what the song is about, but I've learned that sometimes it's better to get out of the way and simply let it be heard for what it is. The best I can say today is that it's about enduring pain and loving passionately."

This track is so very... Avatar.

As is the band's newly announced '26 tour dates across Europe, and the UK following their return to Australia, and New Zealand.

Among the things he talked about were their last days together, how he found out he passed, his last show, and the outpouring of love and support he and his family have received.

Following Ozzy's final show, Back to the Beginning on July 5th in Birmingham, England, Jack was scheduled to go on vacation in Portugal with his family, but he had to cancel due to his children coming down with a stomach virus.

In closing, Jack said he and his family will talk further when the time is right.

Ozzy was 76 when he died of a heart attack at his Buckinghamshire estate on July 22nd. 

The producers of the MTV Video Music Awards have announced a special tribute to Ozzy Osbourne on the show Sunday night.

The tribute will feature Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Yungblud and Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme. Tyler, Yungblud and Bettencourt all took part in Osbourne's final concert, Back to the Beginning on July 5th in Birmingham, England. Osbourne died of a heart attack on July 22nd.

The MTV Video Music Awards are Sunday night at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. The show, which will air on CBS for the first time along with various MTV networks, will start at 8 p.m. ET.
